What does it do:
This tool will setup Arnold to automatically subdivide all of your selected mesh at rendertime. It will also setup adaptive subdivision, in order to minimise calculation time, in a way that still allows for instancing of assets.
How to use it:
Select all of the meshes you want to have subdivide automatically at render time.
Run the script.
Enter how many subdivisions you want into the interface.
Installation Instructions:
Open the .py file in any text or script editor.
Paste the entire contents of the .py file into the Maya Script Editor.
Save the script as a button to your shelf.
